Darren J. Brown, P.E. has BS in Mechanical Engineering and over
20 years of experience
in the field of acoustics, noise, and vibration. Much of his work experience is in the area of
environmental noise.
He has headed up projects dealing with residential, commercial and
industrial noise issues. Project work in these areas often deals with measurements of existing
conditions as well as advanced modeling of future developments. He has also worked on various
architectural projects for interior space acoustics, HVAC system noise and vibration, exterior
shell isolation and predictive modeling.
Mr. Brown also has experience in automotive noise and
vibration working on total vehicle systems with automotive companies and suppliers
and has been board certified in noise control engineering by the Institute of Noise Control
Engineering/USA.
