Darren Brown, PE, INCE Board Certified

Darren Brown is a Principal Consultant and entrepreneur of K&S Engineers, LLC with over 30 years of experience providing measurements, analysis and design services in various aspects of acoustics, noise, and vibration. He is a licensed professional engineer, a Board Certified in Noise Control Engineering by the Institute of Noise Control Engineering-USA (INCE), and has served as an acoustics expert in litigation. Mr. Brown specializes in environmental acoustics, including developing ordinances, measuring community noise impact, and predicting the impact of new equipment and facilities noise on adjacent communities. He also has extensive experience with HVAC and mechanical equipment noise and vibration control, and how this can impact people inside and outside buildings. He also works on projects related to interior space acoustics, high performance sound isolation, acoustics laboratory design, and the qualification of acoustic test rooms.
